I’m Cristina.
I’m an artist and museum educator based in New Jersey who loves bringing people together through art and learning. I’m passionate about facilitating creativity and connection in everything I do, whether I’m leading a program, designing a curriculum, or creating something with my own hands.
My artwork often takes shape in sculptural forms made from handmade paper, thread, and found objects — materials that carry stories and textures of their own. I earned my MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts, where I deepened my love for process, experimentation, and community.
Over the years, I’ve worn a few hats — from a hands-on Display Coordinator at Anthropologie, to Professor at Saint Elizabeth University. Now, I continue sharing my love for art as a Museum Educator at the Morris Museum, helping visitors of all ages connect with art in meaningful ways.
When I’m not in the museum or studio, you’ll probably find me chasing great burger spots, enjoying DIY house projects, or getting lost with a jigsaw puzzle.
