MY WORK

By working with handmade paper and thread, I can weave my personal narrative throughout my work. I experience emotional healing as my work becomes personal. This encounter has become important to my practice because it allows me to draw on my life experiences, which have facilitated the growth of my individuality throughout my work.

I am interested in the tragedies of life as they appeal to my desire to know how we heal as individuals. My work embodies the overarching themes of narrative, healing, memory, and objects in relation to family history and personal growth.

I want the viewer to be able to connect with and embrace their own individuality to deepen their understanding of their journey towards self-identity.
